Kimberley
The Kimberley region is located in the northern part of Western Australia, bordered on the west by the Indian Ocean, on the north by the Timor Sea, on the south by the Great Sandy and Tanami Deserts, and on the east by the Northern Territory.
Kalumburu and Kalumburu communities (formerly Drysdale River Mission) are within the Shire of Wyndham-East Kimberley Western Australia. Kalumburu community is the northernmost settlement in Western Australia. According to the 2006 census, it has a population of 413 people and is home to the Aboriginal people from the Wunambal and Kwini language groups.
