Barney Daniels Tjungurrayi
Barney DANIELS TJUNGURRAYI was a prolific Luritja artist. His early years were spent learning traditional survival, Aboriginal law and ceremony.
Barney painted totems handed down from his father including snake, blue tongued lizard, bush fire, centipede, witchetty grub and bush tucker. The stippled background of his paintings depict the vegetation of the landscape, bush regeneration and bushfires.
