Garry Djorlom

Garry Djorlom is a respected Kunwinjku artist from Gunbalanya (Oenpelli), Western Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. Garry is the son of a ceremonial leader - Dudley Djorlom . The traditional way of life was passed on to Garry and he is an excellent hunter and food gatherer. He has appeared in several documentaries showcasing his art and traditional bush skills.

In 1998 Garry was Highly Commended in the Australian Heritage Commission Art Award. His artworks are represented in the National Gallery of Australia, Museums and Art Galleries of the Northern Territory and the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection of the University of Virginia.
