Paddy Fordham Wainburranga

Paddy FORDHAM WAINBURRANGA was a senior artist (painter, sculptor, printmaker, didjeridu musician and dancer) and storyteller of Aboriginal culture and history, including historical events associated with European occupation.

Paddy painted mimi (mimih) spirit figures, slender mythical figures that live in the cracks of rocks. The mimi cannot be seen but are responsible for unexplained, mischievous happenings.
