Lily Lion Kngwarreye's artworks have featured in several group exhibitions since 1977, including exhibitions at Utopia Art, Sydney; the Orange Regional Gallery; the Austral Gallery, St Louis, USA; the Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin, and the Araluen Art Centre, Alice Springs. Lily was including Robert Holmes a Court exhibition- Utopia: A Picture Story, batiks from Utopia. Lily is skilled in fine, dot painting techniques, painting her totems including bush foods, Rainbow Dreaming and Ngkwarlerlaneme country.
