Ernabella Artists have been painting on silk since the 1990s following the success of their batik silks which the artists have produced since the 1970s. Each hand painted silk represents design elements of the desert landscape which are important to the artist.
The textiles produced at Ernabella include magnificent long silk lengths, paintings/wall hangings and scarves.
